CULTURE MEDIA - ACID CASEIN HYDROLYSATE
It is a result of hydrolysis of high-quality milk casein. As such it containd all amino acids (except tryptophan and Cystein which destroyed during acidic hydrolysis) present in casein.
It has found variety of application including use in growth studies concerned with submerged and continuous culture. It acts as a good nutrient substrate and is especially suitable for the large-scale cultivation of microorganisms and bacteriological assay of vitamins.
