CULTURE MEDIA - TRYPTONE (Enzymatic digest of Casein)

It is a pancreatic digest of milk protein casein. It is a very rich source of amino acid nitrogen. It has a high tryptophan content and therefore used in media for testing indole reaction, sterility testing media and fermentation process.
